Mandy had a week-long work conference at University of California at Santa Barbara in August, so Garrett and Nora tagged along. During the day while Mom was at the conference, Dad and Nora did touristy stuff.
At the Hotel
Unbeknownst to Nora, we took some of the new toys she got for her birthday. We had the suitcase unzipped, but closed. Nora had been crawling around in the living room and Dad turned his back for a minute. When he turned around, Nora was gone. He went into the bedroom to find this. To say she was excited would be an understatement.
